MD United is pleased to announce and welcome our coaching staff for the new incoming 2028 Mighty Sticks Team!


Mills Hook Dancy

Mills attended University of Virginia (1997-2001) in Charlottesville,VA where she played Division I Lacrosse:

She was a 4 year starter and captain in 2001.

She played in 2 National Championship Finals, 1998 and 1999.

She was a member of the 1998 UVA ACC Championship Team.

She was the ACC Rookie of the Year 1998.

Mills has youth coaching experience in Charlottesville, VA , Aspen, CO, and Annapolis, MD.

Mills attended St. Paul’s School for Girls in Baltimore Maryland K-12, and played soccer, tennis, field hockey, and lacrosse for 4 years. At SPSG she was a member of the 1997 AIS Field Hockey Championship Team. She participated in the USWLA National Schoolgirl’s tournament, she was an All-American in 1996 and 1997, and she was named to the AIS All star team in 1995, 1996, and 1997. In 2017 she was inducted into St. Paul’s School for Girls Hall-of-Fame.    

Mills lives in Sherwood Forest, MD with her husband Miah, and their four children, Finnley (12), Hook (11), Bodie (11), and Barrett (9). Mills is a Special Education Teacher at Annapolis Elementary School and she teaches Yoga. She is big believer in the power of mindfulness and she enjoys empowering children to be their best self by employing mindful and yogic practices in her teaching and coaching.

2027 Coaching Staff Announced

MD United is pleased to announce and welcome our coaching staff for the new incoming 2027 Team!

Kendra King Burnham

Kendra is married to Scott Burnam and has two kids, Kaylen and Braedon.  

She has extensive coaching experience from youth to club to college.

She served as an assistant coach for the American and Towson women's lacrosse teams after a stint as a head coach at Mount Saint Mary's.

At each school she was primarily responsible  for directing the defense. Under her direction, American gave up just 160 goals, the third-fewest in school history. 

Prior to her college coaching she served as the Head Coach of the Woodbridge (Va.) High School varsity girls lacrosse team in the 2000 season, compiling a 10-2 record

Burnam played four years at Virginia Tech, and was the Hokies' all-time career leader in blocks/interceptions/caused turnovers.  

She is excited to join Md United! 


Christie Jenkins Kemezis

Married to Jon Kemezis (MD lax alum as well).  2 kiddos – Connor (11) and Kendall (9).  Residing in Severna Park.  Coaching Green Hornets Sticklet’s and Pee Wee’s since 2014. 

Member of 2001 World Cup Women’s Gold Medal Team

Member of the USA Women’s Elite Team 1998 – 2005

Captain of the 1999 and 2000 Terps Championship Teams

4-year starter of National Champions Maryland teams 1997, 1998, 1999, & 2000

ACC Player of the Year 1999

3-time All American

2003 – 50th Anniversary All-ACC Team


Missy Pasko

Attended Hofstra University (1991-1995) in Long Island, NY where she played Division I Field Hockey and Lacrosse for 4 years.  Accomplishments while attending Hofstra University are:

Academic and Athletic Scholarship

Inducted into the Hofstra Athletic Hall of Fame (Field Hockey & Lacrosse)

Academic All-American (Field Hockey & Lacrosse)

All-East Coast Conference (Lacrosse)

Northeast All-American (Lacrosse)

North/South Senior All-Star Team (Lacrosse)

Mid-East Regional All-American Second Team (Field Hockey)

She attended Loch Raven High School in Towson, MD, and played field hockey and lacrosse for 4 years.  Her lacrosse team went undefeated for all 4 years, and won the Maryland State Championship each year.  For lacrosse, she was a first-team All-Metro Lacrosse Selection senior year, and Loch Raven was ranked number one.  While playing field hockey, her team won a Maryland State Championship and was a State Finalist another year. 

She resides in Severna Park, MD with her husband, Vincent, and their two children, Finn and Sydney, who are very actively involved in sports; therefore, you can usually find her at the lacrosse field, ice hockey rink, soccer field or basketball court.  She has been coaching girls lacrosse for 4 years, and thoroughly enjoys helping young girls develop their game of lacrosse.
